1.       Fota Wildlife Park

2.       Blackrock Castle & Observatory

3.       Cork City Gaol

Visit the Cork City Gaol and learn about the history of Cork its prisoners. Located just outside the city, it’s imposing structure is hard to miss. 4.       The Butter Museum

Check out the Butter Museum in Cork City. It celebrates one of Cork’s greatest success stories of Cork. The Cork Butter Exchange. See the full process from manufacturing to selling and the history of what was the world’s largest butter market. Open Saturdays and Sundays, prices start from €4 for adults and €1.50 for kids.

5.       Spike Island

Take a trip to Spike Island to experience and learn about the island’s rich history. Over the last 1300 years it has been home to a 7th century Monastery, a 24 acre Fortress, the world’s largest Victorian convict depot as well as centuries of many island homes. Located in Cobh Harbour it is accessible by ferry which is included in the price. Tickets are starting from €49 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

6.       Shopping

There is plenty to see and do in Cork but if you fancy a bit of shopping you have plenty of options. Mahon Point Shopping Centre is an all in one stop for food, cinema and shopping all under one roof. If you want some more variety check out Cork City and take a walk down the streets and see our many stores on offer.
