Night Porter
We currently have an exciting vacancy as a Full Time Night Porter, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel throughout the night, while providing the highest level of customer service.
You will have prior experience working in hotels and working nights and must also be computer literate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure guests are warmly welcomed to the hotel & that their business is dealt with in an efficient, professional and courteous manner throughout their visit.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors at all times.
• Carry out security checks and fire patrols of the entire hotel building on a regular basis.
• Attend to the needs of late arriving guests. (Including Food & Beverage Requests)
• Set-up, maintain and service banquet and meeting room facilities throughout the hotel as directed by the off going duty manager and or as directed by hotel management.
• Carry out required cleaning duties through the night, to include public areas, meeting rooms, food and beverage outlets, and any other areas required.
• Bar experience would be beneficial.
• Deal with telephone and guest enquiries.
• Perform Reception duties throughout the night.
Normal Shifts will be 11 pm - 7 am. Weekend shifts will be involved.
The Ideal candidate:
• Must have a good command of the English Language.
• Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standards of customer service.
• Previous hotel experience
• Must be standards driven and detail-orientated.
