"Everything was fantastic, but I think the absoulute highlights were probably how smoothly and proffessionaly everything ran and to a great pace - compared to other weddings I've been to it felt like the venue had a firm but not overbearing grasp on the course of events so guests were never lost or waiting around.

The personalisations and added bits of details made us both feel very special including the pictures on the menus, and were commented on by our guests. The service was faultless and we felt like the servers were happy to be there but not over-bearing or stern. They were all personable, cheery and sweet and made an effort to make sure myself and my husband felt like superstars for the day. 

You could clearly see weddings at the Vienna Woods are not just a hit-the-mark go through the motions affair, the staff take passion in their service and Laura the Wedding Manager came across like it was her own personal drive to have the most successfull wedding, not just go through the motions of ticking off what we asked for. She checked in with me throughout to let me know if there's anything I'd like to change, just let her know and she'd sort it, and on the day everything was absolutely seamless. We were all blown away by how perfect the day went."

"From the very beginning you were an absolute pleasure to deal with.  We really appreciated how accommodating you were with all our requests - from moving back to the John Peters Suite after dinner for drinks and music, to last minute requests like setting up the sweet cart for us and using your own phone for the playlist at the drinks reception until we arrived (which turned out to be very late)! These thoughtful touches meant so much to us and made the day feel really personal.

We received raving reviews from our wedding guests - everyone was so impressed with the venue, the beautiful setting, incredible food and professionalism of the hotel staff - who were efficient, obliging and accommodating throughout the day.

We are so grateful to you and the entire team at Vienna Woods for helping to create such a memorable day for us and our guests.  It was everything we had hoped for and even more."

“From start to finish, you made the whole process feel so easy and enjoyable. No question or idea was ever too silly and no matter what we wanted to do, you always found a way to make it happen. Even when we arrived with caterpillar cakes for you to set up!! You really are amazing at your job! Everyone was raving about the day, not just the organisation that people could see, but also the incredible behind the scenes work that we and the bridal party witnessed. The staff and service were genuinely second to none and we honestly couldn’t get over how seamless everything was.”

“A massive shout out to every single staff member. Everyone has been so complimentary of the venue, staff, food and overall running of the day. Also, the ceremony set up was just stunning! Words can not describe how appreciative we both are to everyone for making the day so relaxed and seamless from start to end. Neither of us had to worry about a thing. I am 100% sure there will be a lot of returning guests in the future.”

"Best Wedding Venue EVER!! We recently got married in Vienna Woods & I would highly recommend it! We had the best weekend - it was perfect :) and the staff were a dream. I cannot thank them enough - especially Laura the wedding planner who is an absolute legend and made our wedding go off without a hitch - thank you Laura! The rooms are clean and comfortable with a homey/cosy feel.The food is 10/10 to die for! If i could go back and do it all again I would. The views are amazing! Our guests have been raving about it ever since! Thanks all for making our day so special :) Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend!!!!"

"5 Stars. We had our wedding reception in Vienna woods in March 2025. We can not say enough good things about the staff and the venue itself. Their attention to detail both on the wedding day itself and in the planning of the wedding day. Anytime we met with them we received a warm welcome as did our guests on the day. And you got the sense that they were almost as excited as we were about our wedding.They provided us with guidance and direction on stuff we were undecided or unsure of. The hotel itself is in a nice quiet area (away from the hustle and bustle) but still close to Cork City and Glanmire. The drinks reception room and adjoining balcony is an ideal area for your guests to mingle and for us to meet with them. The ball room is spectacular, we had a large number of guests and the room was not over crowded.The food was excellent and the feedback from our guests backed up our own opinions on the high quality of the food. We also had a smaller gathering on the day after the wedding and the staff were just as accommodating and helpful with the organisation of this as they were of the wedding itself. We are very thankful to everyone at Vienna Woods for helping us make our wedding day so memorable and enjoyable. We highly recommend Vienna woods.”
