The ideal candidate will be a hard-working kitchen porter to help us maintain a spotlessly clean, welcoming and safe environment here at the Vienna Woods Hotel.
We're looking for a cheerful, positive and dynamic person who is obsessed with hygiene and loves to clean! This is an extremely busy and fast-paced role , as you will be helping maintain the high-quality environment that is so important to both our staff and our customers.
Morning and/or Evening hours available.
However the selected candidate must have flexibility in the working hours which may include weekday mornings / evenings along with full availability at the weekends.
Role Requirements
- Keeping the kitchen and surrounding areas clean, safe and hygienic
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, walls, sinks and countertops - heavy lifting required
- Collection and wash-up of cutlery, pots, pans, crockery, etc
- Ensuring food preparation areas are constantly clean and ready for use
- Ensuring the kitchen and store-room areas remain organised and tidy
- Unloading deliveries as needed
- Deep cleaning Duties
- Any other duties assigned by the Head Chef
Personal Skills & Requirements
- Energetic, honest, punctual and reliable.
- Understanding of food hygiene requirements
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Take pride in your work and be customer-focused, you are helping ensure our hotel meets the high standards our customers expect!
