We are seeking a creative, organised, and passionate Full Time Digital Marketing & Content Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys content creation, branding, and digital marketing within the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the hotel across digital platforms, enhancing brand presence, driving engagement, and supporting revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
Requirements for the role include:
- Social Media Marketing
- Develop and implement engaging social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Manage and grow the hotel’s online presence through consistent and creative content.
- Plan and follow a social media content calendar.
- Create and publish engaging reels, photography, stories, and promotional posts.
- Monitor engagement and respond to messages, comments, and online enquiries.
- Content Creation
- Produce high-quality photo and video content to showcase the hotel, events, dining, weddings, accommodation, and experiences.
- Use equipment including a drone, Sony a6100 camera, iPhone, gimbal, tripod, and lighting equipment.
- Design marketing collateral and graphics using Canva and other creative tools.
- Create content for blogs, email campaigns, promotional materials, and advertising.
- Email Marketing
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns, ezines, promotions, and event announcements.
- Use Revinate to schedule and automate email campaigns. Segment databases to maximise engagement and return business.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise results.
- Website & SEO Management
- Maintain and update website content using the hotel CMS.
- Optimise website copy and blog content to improve SEO performance.
- Create landing pages and website forms to support campaigns and lead generation.
- Produce 3–4 blog posts per month aligned with SEO and marketing objectives.
- Ensure all website content remains current and visually engaging.
- Menu & Promotional Design
- Design and update hotel menus including: À la carte, Breakfast , Wine lists, Afternoon tea, Children’s menus, Event, Wedding, and group menus
- Update pricing, allergens, and menu information across all platforms and departments.
- Create bespoke promotional materials for events and seasonal offerings.
- Branding & Marketing Strategy
- Support the development and execution of monthly marketing and sales plans.
- Create brochures and promotional materials for weddings, corporate events, family breaks, couples, and holiday villas.
- Research hospitality trends, local events, and promotional opportunities to drive revenue and brand awareness.
- Assist in developing new accommodation packages and experiences.
- Reputation Management
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews across platforms including TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, and Google.
- Maintain and enhance the hotel’s online reputation and brand image.
- PR & Partnerships
- Liaise with third-party websites and tourism partners including Original Irish Hotels, Pure Cork, Cork Chamber, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor.
- Coordinate marketing support for events including wedding fairs, corporate showcases, and industry awards.
- Build relationships with local attractions, businesses, and event organisers across Cork.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualification or experience in Marketing and/or Digital Media.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and digital marketing.
- Experience creating photo and video content.
- Proficiency in Canva and social media platforms.
- Experience with CMS platforms and email marketing tools is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality, storytelling, and brand development.
