1.How do we check a date?
Please contact us here and we will be more than happy to check your dream wedding date.
2.Do you have a one wedding per day policy?
Yes of course, we only host one wedding per day.
3.What price are your wedding packages?
Our wedding packages start from €59.00 per person. You have the option to tailor make your own wedding package to suit your day or add to an existing package. Or, you can chose from one of our packages.
4.Do you have special offers or offer discounts for weddings?
Yes, we have Wedding Packages available on selected dates from October to March which offers brilliant value and includes a range of complimentary extras.
5.How many guests do you cater for?
Our Ballroom caters for numbers of up to 400 and we have a minimum guest requirement of 100 guests for Friday and Saturday wedding receptions from June to September. We also offer smaller group weddings if you want a more intimate atmosphere.
6.What do you include for our welcome reception?
With each wedding package we also include welcome drinks for your guests. This includes a choice of Fruit Punch, Sangria or Mulled Wine, and also includes tea, coffee, orange juice, still and sparkling water and homemade cookies.
7.Can the drinks reception be held outside?
Providing the weather allows, yes of course. You and your guests will be looking out onto Glashaboy River with a stunning view of the greenery surrounding it.
8.Can I use my own flowers, table plan or wedding planner?
Yes, you are more than welcome to provide your own table flowers and your own table plan. You can also hire a professional wedding planner if that is what you wish.
9.What style of tables do you have?
We offer round tables that can seat 8-12 guests. Our top table has a backdrop of the green woodlands surrounding the Country House and can be adjusted to whichever sizing preferred.
10.What wines are available to add to our package and how much do you recommend per person?
We have an extensive wedding wine list available. We always advise couples to allow for half a bottle per guest. We also allow you to provide your own wines if you so wish with a corkage charge.
11.Can we block book rooms for our wedding guests?
Yes, we hold a number of rooms at a preferential rate on the night of your wedding, we also set up a Promo Code for you and your guests to use when booking the bedrooms at a lower rate than standard.
12.When do we need to pay a deposit?
We can provisionally hold your wedding date for 4 weeks. To confirm and book your wedding date we request a non-refundable deposit of €1,500.
13.What time does the Band or DJ need to finish at?
Music is requested to finish by 2.30am.
14.What time does the bar close?
The bar closes at 2am, and music can continue until 2.30am.
15.Can you host our rehearsal and day after party?
Yes, we can hold your rehearsal dinner in a function room so it is private or we can host the day after celebrations. See here for our Pre and Post Wedding Celebrations. The day after BBQ is a big hit for our summer months.
16.Do you allow children to attend?
Yes of course. We also have a babysitter system where we can hire a babysitter for a cost per hour. Click here to enquire.
17.Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes indeed, just let us know what requirements you have and we will discuss the available options. We cater for vegetarians, vegans, coeliac and all allergens.
18.When do we meet to discuss menu choices, set-up etc?
We will organise a meeting with one of our wedding coordinators or senior management approximately 8 weeks before the event to run through all the final details.
19.How many bedrooms are in the hotel?
We have 50 bedrooms. There are 3 grades of room available to guests -Lotabeg rooms, Classic Rooms, and Executive Rooms. Rates vary between grades. There are also 7 villas that cater for up to 8 people sharing.
20.Do you host civil ceremonies?
We have a number of venues you may use for civil ceremonies, dependant on the number of attending guests. The main function room we use is the Glanmire Suite which holds up to 120 people for a civil ceremony. Enquire here for more information.
