At Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel, we offer versatile meeting and event spaces tailored to accommodate everything from intimate board meetings to large-scale international conferences. Situated in Glanmire, just 10 minutes from Cork City Centre, our 4-star country house venue provides an inspiring, accessible backdrop for corporate gatherings.
Guide to Meeting Room Layouts
Choosing the correct seating configuration ensures maximum engagement and comfort for your attendees. We offer six primary setup styles across our corporate suites:
- Theatre Style: Chairs arranged in rows facing the front of the room. Ideal for presentations, product launches, and keynotes where audience interaction is primarily passive.
- Classroom Style: Parallel rows of tables and chairs facing the front. Best suited for training sessions, exams, or workshops requiring attendees to take notes or use laptops.
- Boardroom Style: A single central table surrounded by chairs facing inward. Designed for collaborative discussion, executive meetings, and committee reviews.
- U-Shape Style: Tables arranged in a rectangular 'U' shape with open space in the centre, facing a screen or focal point. Great for interactive workshops, group discussions, and presentations requiring trainer-delegate engagement.
- Cabaret Style: Round tables arranged with chairs positioned around part of the circumference facing the front. Excellent for collaborative group work, team-building sessions, and presentations with breakout discussions.
- Banquet & Reception Style: Fully seated round tables for dining or open-plan standing setups for networking, social celebrations, and post-conference receptions.

Audiovisual & Equipment Guidelines
To ensure your presentation runs smoothly, select meeting rooms feature built-in flat-screen TVs or projection facilities.
Because modern devices use a wide variety of display outputs, we cannot guarantee suitable adapters or specific connection cables on-site. We strongly advise organisers and presenters to bring their own HDMI dongles, display adapters, extension leads, and laptop chargers to guarantee seamless connectivity with our AV displays.
Meeting Refreshments & Dining Options
Fuel your delegates throughout the day with our customisable food and beverage packages, featuring locally sourced produce and freshly prepared items.
In-Room Tea, Coffee, & Snacks
We offer continuous or scheduled refreshment breaks delivered directly to your meeting space. Options include freshly brewed tea, herbal infusions, and premium coffee, accompanied by a selection of freshly baked cookies, muffins, scones, or fruit skewers.
Lunch & Dining Solutions
For lunch breaks, we provide flexible dining options to fit your schedule:
- Enjoy light lunch options, such as freshly prepared soups, gourmet sandwiches, and wraps, served directly inside your suite.
- Move down to our award-winning Mabel Crawford’s Bistro for a sit-down meal. Choose from hot main courses, two-course menus, or formal event menus in a private dining setting.
