Completed in the summer of 2023, the John Peters Suite is the newest jewel in our collection of event spaces - a strikingly stylish venue that bridges timeless sophistication with contemporary luxury.

Primed as our main drinks reception area for large celebrations and weddings, the suite offers a seamless prelude to the grandeur of our Magner Suite ballroom. With floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning views of the Glashaboy River and surrounding woodland, natural daylight fills the space throughout the day, creating an inviting and uplifting ambience.

Up to 40 guests for private dining
Seating for 100 attendees for meetings, or presentations
Space for up to 200 standing guests for drinks receptions

The suite also connects directly to our original entrance foyer and offers access to our rear garden area, providing a natural flow for larger events or outdoor elements (civil ceremonies).

In Loving Memory of John Peter

The John Peters Suite is named in honour of John Peter, our much-loved Deputy General Manager, who sadly passed away in April 2022. A gentle soul with a kind heart, John was a pillar of warmth, dedication, and leadership within the hotel for many years. Always soft-spoken, endlessly thoughtful, and deeply committed to both guests and colleagues alike, he left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he worked with. His legacy of grace, care, and unwavering passion continues to inspire us each day, and we are proud to dedicate this special space to his memory.
