We are delighted to share some fantastic news: Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel has been featured in the Fab 50 list of Ireland’s 50 Best Places to Stay in 2026, as selected by Pól Ó Conghaile for the Irish Independent. This recognition is something we are incredibly proud of, not just for the hotel itself, but for the team, the work behind the scenes, and the journey we’ve been on in recent years to continually improve and evolve.
A Significant Investment in the Future
Over the past few years, we have invested over €7 million into the hotel, transforming and enhancing both guest spaces and event facilities while staying true to the character and charm that makes Vienna Woods special.
This investment includes:
- 22 new Executive Plus bedrooms, designed with comfort and modern luxury in mind
- A revamped lobby and glass room, creating brighter, more welcoming arrival and gathering spaces
- Our new dedicated wedding and event space, Grá, offering couples and guests a contemporary yet romantic setting for celebrations
Each addition has been carefully considered to improve the guest experience while preserving the warmth and individuality of the hotel.
Independence That Makes a Difference
One of the themes highlighted in the feature is our identity as an independent hotel, and the advantages that come with it.
