Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel Named Best Sustainable Wedding Venue
We're delighted to have been named Best Sustainable Venue at the Wedding Awards Ireland 2026.
As one of Ireland's newest wedding awards programmes, the awards celebrate venues that are setting the standard across the wedding industry, and we're honoured to be recognised for our commitment to sustainability.
Over the past few years, sustainability has become an important part of how we operate. We've made significant investments that allow us to reduce our environmental impact while continuing to provide the exceptional wedding experience our couples expect.
Some of these initiatives include:
- Installation of 150 solar panels to generate renewable energy.
- Ongoing food waste reduction initiatives.
- Locally sourced ingredients for wedding menus.
- Continued investment in energy efficient facilities as part of our recent redevelopment.
