Having spent a number of years living in Austria the new owner thought the similarities between the area and Vienna were uncanny so she renamed the house "Vienna Woods Hotel". The Fitzgerald family and Michael Magner took over as owners of the hotel in 2006 and since then have restored it to it's formal splendor and transformed it into a luxurious 50 bed roomed hotel in Cork, with extensive Conference and Banqueting Facilities and 8, 4 bedroom holiday villas.
