From artisan food markets and a free lunch for all, to on-street entertainment and a fantastic live music-line up, The Cork St. Patrick’s Festival is set to be legendary this year. This year's theme is LEGENDS, so get involved in this year's parade with your own interpretation of mythical, historical or your own personal legend
Cork Pride Festival
Pride is a celebration; an expression of the diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. Cork City has a well-established LGBT community and since the Cork Pride Parade began seven years ago, there have been many changes both in Cork and Irish society.
This year, the event hopes to attract up to 10,000 visitors from home and abroad to support the LGBT Community in Cork. Cork Pride has always had an open and welcoming atmosphere with something to offer everyone, no matter what your gender identity or sexual orientation is. The theme of this year's parade is '20 Years Proud'.
Live at the Marquee Cork
Live at the Marquee is is an annual music festival which brings some of the biggest names in music to Cork. The first event occurred in 2005 when Cork was the official European Capital of Culture. Kinsale 7’s Tournament 2014
The 26th Heineken Kinsale Rugby 7's is Ireland's largest rugby festival with 90 teams from Ireland, Europe, Asia and the USA.
The event is made up of male and female teams, elite and club teams, with three different competitions: Elite, Open and Social, and there is a prize fund of over €30,000. Five thousand spectators will cheer on the competitions taking place on five pitches over three days.
Situated near the lovely town of Kinsale, visitors can enjoy music all weekend with a food hall on site. The party continues well into the night in Kinsale. The club is located just 20km from Cork City and 15km from Cork Airport
Cork Week 2014
5th-11th June inclusive - Preparations for Cork Week 2014 are well underway and the management team has been making plans for Ireland’s longest running and most prestigious regatta. The sailing grounds in Cork Harbour and the Atlantic approaches offer a fantastic variety of sailing and that will never change.
The secret of Cork Week’s success cannot be attributed to any one rule or aspect of it’s organisation. It’s success is found in the eclectic mix of classes, competitors, good courses, good company, our team of dedicated volunteers and the good humour of our 10,000 visitors.
Cork Midsummer Festival
Established in 1997, Cork Midsummer Festival is one of Ireland's leading international multi-disciplinary arts festivals. It is an annual festival which transforms the city of Cork every June with a programme full of local, national and international events including theatre, dance, opera, music, visual arts and outdoor arts, as well as ambitious participatory projects and an extensive programme of free events. It brings the world to Cork – and shows Cork to the world.

Cork Film Festival
Its log line is ‘Films. Music. Ideas’. As well as playing a rich selection of the best of contemporary world cinema, it has a lively and varied music on film programme, and a timely event series, which uses films to explore some of the burning issues of our time.
The Festival operates out of the Cork Opera House, the Triskel Christchurch, and the Gate Cinema in November 2014.
Glow – A Cork Christmas Celebration
The highly successful Christmas festival captured the hearts of young and old alike. Highlights included Tír Na Nollag, a mystical fairy village for families in Bishop Lucey Park, artisan food markets, a 30 metre Ferris wheel with panoramic views of the city, a vintage carousel, and a 3D Christmas projection on the façade of Brown Thomas after dark.
